April showers might bring May flowers, but this month also delivers plenty of reasons to celebrate our pets. There are holidays dedicated to safety, responsible ownership, plenty of cat information, and simply having fun. A few of my favorites are National Scoop the Poop Week (phew), Hairball Awareness Day (Yuk), and Adopt a Shelter Pet Day (yeah). There’s no shortage of ways to enjoy quality time with your animal companions. Take the time to celebrate your pets’ unique quirks and participate in events that promote their well-being. As pictured above, Easter is another important day to show you care by keeping all the scrumptious chocolate candies in a safe place. April makes it easy to show you care.
