Duke, Brynn and Luca Turkovich
“After a lot of conversations and discussions, we decided we wanted to add another member to our family. We decided on a fur baby and named him Duke! We originally wanted a female dog; however we settled for a male. We searched for boxer puppies nevertheless we needed the puppy to be ready to be picked up at the beginning of summer. This worked best for our work schedules. We wanted this to be a surprise for our children Brynn 9 and Luca 5. So when Duke was ready for pick up, we met the breeder. He was perfect, and we fell in love with him immediately. When arriving back home with the puppy we put him in a box. We rang the doorbell for our children to come outside and there was a surprise on our porch for them. They opened the box and out popped Duke’s head. From that moment on Duke has been Brynn and Luca ‘s best friend a.k.a. brother! We cannot imagine life without Duke!
Duke is 1.5 years old, and he weighs 66 lbs. His favorite snack is bananas, and he loves doing zoomies and playing frisbee. Duke is the greeter at Mon Valley Phone Repair. If you come into the store and ignore him he will be sure to let you know he’s there until you give him a pet.”
