The Golf Ball Drop proved to be another aspect of fun and participation from the community. The Chester Foundation shared in the occasion assisting in the sales of the golf balls. The winning golf ball closest to the target won over $1800.00!
We wish to thank all those who participated and joined in the celebration of yet another productive day! Tail wags and happy barks go to the Monessen Volunteer Fire Department for their time and equipment. Thanks Paul, Mikayla, Josh and Braydon.

Thanks to all who contributed in the Golf Ball Event and the golf ball drop in action. Those present were: Drews Crew Wild at Heart Animal Rescue, Pet Supplies Plus, Chester Foundation, Lynn Sokol, Michael’s Ovation, Mon Valley Paws Bakery Sales Ladies, Steel City Miniature Golf, Steel Plate Food Truck and the Fire Department. A big thanks to the Monessen School District for the use of the grounds and to all the people who donated the golf balls needed for the drop. The bakery sale could not have succeeded without all the homemade items donated for the day. It takes many volunteers and community effort to make our mission prevail. Let’s do this again next year!
