Mon Valley Paws is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of a dedicate group of volunteers who raise funds and collect pet food and supplies which are provided to individuals in need and nonprofit organizations who specialize in the care and rescue of animals.
The percentage of funds donated to each program at Mon Valley Paws is determined by the members of Mon Valley Paws at the annual meeting. Currently 62.5% of the funds raised yearly is allocated to the partnered Shelter and Rescues and the remaining 37.5% is allocated to the Grant programs, Businesses and individuals also have the option of donating directly to the Grant Program.

- Please visit the Shelter and Rescue page to learn more about our partnered rescues. The rescues are chosen through an application process by the Shelter and Rescue Committee. New shelters and rescues are selected every 2 years.

The procedures that impact a specific function are determined by the coordinator or the members of the committee which is responsible for that function.
