Bridge To Home Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue dedicated to helping homeless, unwanted, and abandoned dogs. They are dedicated to helping dogs find their forever homes. They have no facility. Their dogs are kept in the volunteers’ homes until the perfect forever home is found. They are based in Eighty Four PA in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.

All But Furgotten is a 501c3, Non-Profit Humane Animal Rescue located in North Huntingdon, PA. Their mission is to rescue and rehabilitate the neglected, abandoned and unwanted animals in our area and to provide a safe and loving forever home. Animal cruelty is a crime against society and our vision is to cultivate a community free of these crimes by educating, empowering and encouraging people to report suspected animal abuse.
All But Furgotten is currently one of the only rescues in Westmoreland County responding to humane incidents. They currently have four volunteer Humane Officers who work towards the prevention of cruelty and suffering to animals. Humane Officers enforce animal cruelty and negligence laws, fighting and caring for those who are abandoned and neglected. They perform wellness checks and routine checks, educating pet owners, offering help, and seizing the animal when necessary. Whenever an animal is seized during an investigation, Humane Officers must go through the court process – which is not always in favor of the animals. Court trials typically last over a year, and animals are considered evidence until the trial is over. This leaves the rescue financially responsible for the humane case animals in their care for extensive periods of time. While court costs and long-term care for the animals can be financially devastating for the rescue, we will never stop fighting for them.

Hound Haven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Lone Pine, PA which is dedicated to finding, saving, and rehabilitating the lives of death row hound type dogs. Especially those in the southeastern part of the U.S. which have been overlooked by other rescues due to medical reasons. It is the mission of Hound Haven to bring these hounds and beagles to the safety of rescue here in Pennsylvania, where they will receive not only basic care but also medical care, training and compassion. The ultimate goal is to find a suitable new forever home for these deserving dogs.
