Mon Valley Paws paid out just over $16,000 in veterinary grants in 2025 to assist individuals and rescues in the Mon Valley with routine vet visits, dental procedures and emergency treatment for select conditions.
New to 2026 the vet exam and dental procedure grants will only be available at sponsoring vets. Emergency grants will still be available at any vet, but will have a higher maximum amount at sponsoring vets ($625 compared to $500),
This year we will also be partnering with Riverside Veterinary Hospital to conduct a free wellness and vaccine clinic at our Paws in the Park event this September.
We will also be sponsoring a TNR clinic and working with one of the local rescues with their TNR program to help reduce the number of stray cats in the area.
100% of your donation will go to the care of animals who may otherwise not receive the care they need.
